The way that seems oh so long
Managing each hurdle by a just
Hello People. Whatever I say in this blog is purely a work of my mind and any resemblance to anyone's idea would be purely coincidental.

The final Potter movie just released a few days back and it marked the end of one of the most amazing phenomenons in the world. First there were the stupendously written books (Thank you J.K. Rowling!) and then the movies have brought an end to this adventure. For most of us, it might feel like an end to their childhood. I was around 13-14 when I started reading these books. Amazingly, I first saw the movie (Philosopher's Stone) before I got hooked onto the books. From then on, it was always a book before the movie came out. And I have enjoyed both of them a lot. Like so many other people, I was glued to them like there was really a magic world out there. I would be true in saying that most of us reading would have had dreams (both day and night!) about being in that world. That magic has not left me since that time. It still continues and it has felt kind of sad since the final book was published (it might be since 5th or 6th book when Lord Voldemort rose to power, we knew this will be coming to end). I saw the final movie a few days back (first day) and I must confess I got the chills sometimes during moments like Neville being a hero in destroying Nagini, Harry's talk with the Grey Lady, Harry's walk down the Forest. I did not quite like the 19 years later epilogue but the John Williams theme from the first film that played got me. It was a surreal experience. It was all in my head but as one of many immortal lines from Dumbledore goes. "Of course it's happening in your head! Why should that mean it isn't real?" Harry Potter will always be the boy who lived!
